About MOScholars
MOScholars is Missouri’s statewide Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program designed to open more learning opportunities for families. Established in 2021, it offers scholarships to students with IEPs and to students from low-income households, giving families greater choice in finding the school setting that meets their child’s unique needs.

— Activate MO is Now an Approved EAO
Activate Missouri is proud to serve as one of the state’s newest Educational Assistance Organizations (EAOs). As an approved EAO, we work to ensure MOScholars funding reaches the students and families who need it most. Our role is to guide families through the scholarship process, connect them with meaningful resources, and help expand educational opportunities across every region of Missouri.

— North Side Community School
North Side Community School is a public charter school with open enrollment for children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. We focus on the whole child offering an exceptional academic and life experience. North Side Community School puts basic living needs and basic academic skills mastery high on our priority list with extended day enrichment programming and an extended school year further characterizing our approach to education.
— The Leadership School
The Leadership school is designed to empower little learners to become little leaders. The TLS cultural and instructional model equips students with the knowledge, skills and mindset to create lives of choice and opportunity. Students at TLS are empowered and inspired to pave their own path to success. Success looks different for everyone; building agency allows our students to create their own opportunities and choices in life. TLS students see themselves as change agents within the school, their communities, and the world.
— Believe Academy
BELIEVE STL Academy is a public college and career preparatory high school serving students in St. Louis. The school’s model is designed to ensure students graduate with a high school diploma while also earning an associate’s degree or an industry-recognized certification in a high-demand career field. BELIEVE STL Academy emphasizes student agency, autonomy, and academic acceleration, and partners with local organizations to provide meaningful pathways to college and workforce opportunities.
— Everyday IBAADAH Academy
Everyday Ibaadah Academy is a fully accredited PK–12 private school offering both virtual and hybrid learning options, now including a Missouri Hybrid program in Kansas City. The hybrid model blends online instruction with in person support four days a week, giving families a flexible, structured learning experience that supports academic growth and enrichment. Students participate in teacher-led virtual classes and attend in-person sessions at Masjid Al-Khair, helping them meet grade-level requirements and engage with quality instruction tailored to their needs. Everyday Ibaadah Academy’s approach emphasizes both academic standards and a nurturing school community.
— Friendly Academy
Friendly Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in North City St. Louis, offering Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Designed to grow with the community, Friendly Academy will expand grade levels based on family needs, with plans to serve K-12. Grounded in the values of love, innovation, community, and impact, Friendly Academy offers a Literacy Lab grounded in the science of reading, alongside innovative programs that prepare students for lifelong success. As a trusted community partner, Friendly Academy goes beyond traditional academics to connect families to vital resources like housing, food, and clothing, creating a strong foundation for student and family success.
— Islamic School of Greater Kansas City
The Islamic School of Greater Kansas City (IScGKC), established in 1989, is a private, Muslim educational institution located at 8505 East 99th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. The school offers education from Preschool through 10th grade, integrating standard Missouri state curriculum with Islamic Studies, Quran, and Arabic language classes. The school emphasizes a nurturing learning environment where all students are treated equitably, fostering respect and love within the educational setting.

Middle Grove C-1 School District is a public school district serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade in Madison, Missouri. As a small, rural district, Middle Grove focuses on providing a close-knit learning environment where students receive individualized attention and support. The district emphasizes strong foundational academics while fostering a sense of community, responsibility, and personal growth, creating a supportive setting for students and families alike.

Baden Montessori School is a nonprofit early childhood school serving students ages 3 through kindergarten in St. Louis, Missouri. Rooted in the Montessori method, Baden provides a child-centered learning environment designed to support independence, curiosity, and academic growth. With a focus on expanding access, the school is committed to serving families who may not otherwise have access to a fully implemented Montessori education, creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive within their community.
— TCM Christian Academy
TCM Christian Academy is a private, Christian, S.T.E.M. academy located in the North County area of St. Louis, MO. They believe that the Bible is the revelation of God to mankind, it is verbally and fully inspired by Him. Therefore, it is vitally important to the curriculum of TCM Christian Academy that they train and teach students according to the Word of God. With these values in mind, students experience a safe, hands-on learning experience through their professional and highly trained education team. They encourage students to give their best and equip them with education and life skills that set them up for success.
— Al-Salam Day School
Al-Salam Day School is a private Islamic school serving students from preschool through eighth grade in St. Louis, Missouri. The school integrates academic excellence with Islamic values through a holistic, student-centered approach rooted in evidence-based practices. In partnership with families, Al-Salam fosters a supportive environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, character development, and a strong sense of faith, preparing students to grow into thoughtful, engaged members of their communities.

Rather than replacing families, the model is intentionally designed to work alongside them.
